We provide the following paid services to foreign citizens:

The specialists of the Department of Urology detect and treat urological disorders, carry out complex reconstructive and plastic surgeries, endoscopic minimally invasive surgeries, extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy, etc.

Both children and adults with an end-stage chronic kidney disease and an acute kidney failure get treatment with the help of modern hemodialysis systems (Artificial Kidney, Fresenius 4008B and Fresenius 4008S) at the Department of Dialysis and Extracorporeal Detoxification.

At the Department of Nephrology, the patients with severe glomerulonephritides get immunosuppressive therapy based on the results of the light microscopy of the renal biopsy material, immunohistochemical assay and electronic microscopy of the renal biopsy material.

The specialists of the Department of Endocrinology detect and treat a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus (24-hour glucose monitoring), diseases of the thyroid, obesity and growth disturbances (diagnostic tests).

Programs for Foreign Citizens

Nephrotic syndrome

Day 1: an examination by a nephrologist, making of an examination and treatment plan, admission to the hospital.

Day 2: a complete blood count; urinalysis; Zimnitsky urine test + 24-hour urine protein excretion measurement; blood chemistry; coagulation profile; immunological blood test; blood test for C3 and C4 complement fractions; ultrasound examination of kidneys and urinary bladder; test for the presence of fluid in the abdominal cavity and pleural cavity; ECG and examination by an ophthalmologist.

Day 3 (further examinations according to indications): the 24-hour blood pressure monitoring; echocardiography; blood test for the markers of the systemic diseases; test for blood group and rhesus factor; ultrasound-guided needle kidney biopsy + light microscopy, immunological assays and electrical microscopy.

Day 4: an ultrasound examination after the needle kidney biopsy, complete blood count and blood chemistry.

Day 5: an adjustment of the treatment based on the results of the needle kidney biopsy.

The estimated cost of the program is 700 USD.

Arterial hypertension (high blood pressure)

Day 1: an examination by a cardiologist, admission to the hospital.

Day 2: a complete blood count, urinalysis, RW blood test (for the patients over 13 years of age), blood chemistry, lipid profile, coagulation profile, ECG, echocardiography, ultrasound examination of the thyroid, ultrasound examination of the kidneys and adrenal glands, ultrasound examination of the brachiocephalic vessels, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring an examination by an ophthalmologist.

Day 3: a consultation by a cardiologists considering the results of the examinations.

Day 4 (further examinations):; if a pathology is suspected, a medical specialist prescribes an ultrasound examination of the thyroid, consultation by an endocrinologist, blood tests for hormones, ultrasound examination of the kidneys, renal scintigraphy, Doppler scanning of the renal vessels and consultation by a nephrologist.

Diabetes mellitus (inpatient care)

Day 1: an examination by an endocrinologist, admission to the hospital.

Day 2: an adjustment of the insulin therapy by the endocrinologist and preparation of a self-test diary. A complete blood count, urinalysis, RW blood test (for the patients over 13 years of age), blood chemistry, ECG, glycated hemoglobin, hormones (TSH, freeT4, TPOAb). An ultrasound examination of the thyroid, kidneys and the abdomen. An examination by an ophthalmologist (fundoscopy and eidoptometry). An examination by a neurologist + assessment of a tactical and pain sensitivity. Glucose profile: fasting glucose, glucose before dinner, before bedtime, at night (more frequently, if necessary). The monitoring of the diabetic nephropathy: measurement of the endogenous creatinine clearance: detection of albumin in the first void urine and 24-hour urine, calculation of the albumin-to-creatinine ratio. If necessary, a medical specialist prescribes the 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (for the patients with a nephropathy), Holter monitoring (for the patients with an autonomic cardiomyopathy), continuous glucose monitoring within 3-6 days (if applicable).

Day 3: consultation by an endocrinologist based on the results of the examinations, adjustment of the insulin therapy based on the results of the 24-hour glucose monitoring and consideration of the food diary.

Day 4: (further examinations) if a pathology is suspected, a consultation by a cardiologist, renal scintigraphy, Doppler scanning of renal vessels and consultation by a nephrologist is prescribed.
