The Procedure for the Provision of the Paid Services to Foreign Citizens

A foreign patient shall have a passport or any other ID document

To get a planned medical care, a foreign citizen shall visit the room of paid services located on the 1st floor of the main building (on the left from the reception) to make a contract for the provision of the paid medical services and to pay for a service.

To get a paid inpatient medical service, a foreign citizen shall visit the admission department to be examined by a pediatrician and to get a medical card. The foreign citizen shall have all documents required for the admission to the hospital.

To get an urgent or emergency care, a foreign citizen shall visit the admission department and provide an insurance policy or any other document, confirming the foreign citizen has a compulsory health insurance contract.

After making the contract and payment, the patient goes to the room, where outpatient care is provided. The patient shall have shoe protectors.

 

The Chief Nurse of the the Department of Urology or the Department of Pediatrics shall accompany the patient to a relevant department. If the patient has to pay for the staying in a ward, the Chief Nurse shall accompany the patient to the room of paid services, where a contract for the provision of the paid medical services is made. The Chief Nurse shall also inform the Lead Economist for Off-Budget Activities on the admission of the patient so that the Lead Economist may make a long-term contact (i.e. a contract for the inclusion of the patient in the waiting list for kidney transplant), if applicable.

A medical specialist of the Admission Department informs a member of staff of Your Assistance CJSC at 399-57-68(69),399-36-58, 392-22-93 (24/7) on the admission of the insured foreign citizen. The medical specialist shall provide the following information: the name of the foreign insurer, ID number of the health insurance contract or an insurance policy. If the patient has a compulsory health insurance contract, the medical specialist shall contact the insurance company at 306-49-80 (Beleximgarant), or at 203-78-93 (Belgostrakh). After that the medical specialist shall inform the Lead Economist for Off-Budget Activities on the admission of the patient.

The Chiefs of the Departments shall inform within 2-3 the Lead Legal Counsel (or if it is absent, the Lead Economist for Off-Budget Activities) on the admission of the foreign patient so that the Lead Legal Counsel may register the patient at the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Central District of Minsk city.

After the treatment is completed, the Lead Economist for Off-Budget Activities shall issue an invoice with an attachment specifying the list of the medical services provided to the patient based on the applicable price-lists and the clinical report.

The final settlement of the accounts shall be made within 2-3 hours before the discharge of the patient and on the basis of the documents provided by the chiefs of the departments to the room of paid services.

The citizens of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Turkmenistan shall not provide the insurance policies. They shall be provided with emergency care free-of-charge.
